 15th of May 2009

On the 15th May 2009 we held a new site opening competiotion which saw Wez Graves from One Call Hire limited walk away with a brand new set of Reuben Heaton scales worth £60. All he had to do was open account to enter. See the winners galllery to find out more.

15th of July 2009

On the 15th July we will draw a small competition for a brand new Korda Bait krusha. All you have to do to enter is help out the site & fellow anglers by writing a quick review on any product. You do not have to have brought the product from us to enter, just used that item in your own fishing. This is very easy to do and can really help people out when the info given is from another angler and not a salesman.

 

31st October 2009

On the 31st October 2009 we held a competition to guess the number of boilies in our airdry bag. The winner was the person with the closest guess to the answer. The total number of boilies in the bag was 312, and with a guess of 311, Jason Ballard has successfully won himself an Apex 30FS River/Feeder Baitrunner with 170yds of 8lb line.

 1st November 2009

On the 1st of November Stuart Macaskill from Darlington won himself a brand new set of digital alarms for guesing the correct weight of the mirror carp. The fish weighed 32lb8oz and Stuart guess was spot on. With over 300 people taking part there were some other correct guesses but Stuarts date was the first correct answer. Well done mate.

 1st January 2010

On the 1st January we drew the New Year mega prize competition which was guess the number of hooks in the pile to win a £60 rod pod. Glyn Wilde from Shefford won with a guess of 110. The correct number was 116 so well done mate hope you have a great season.

10th february

On the 10th of Feb we drew the guess the amount of shot competition, Dave Lambert from Great Broughton won with a guess of 273 which was only 6 shots out!! the correct number of shots was 267, he won himself a new korda hat. Well done mate but please can you get your pic in fir the gallery...Cheers..Paul

 

10th March

Well done to James Wilkinson from Stoke, he won the guess the pop-up competition with the first nearest guess, the correct nuber was 61, he landed himself a korda spod & marker kit. Well done mate hope you have a great season.

 

 

10th April

Well done to John Todd, he won the add a funny caption competition with and answer of "Your only supposed to kiss it and put it back, not make love to it!!!" well done mate hope you have a great season. Please get you pic in for the gallery....cheers Paul.

 

 

10th May

Well done for the second time this year to Glyn Wilde from Shefford, he has just won himself a brand new shiny team Korda t-shirt for his guess of 48.10lb for the guess the catfish competition. He was only 1lb out as the correct guess was 49.10lb well done mate your good at this (did you get any help this time?). Just shows you you have to get your guesses in quick & also you have to enter to have a chance...got to be in it to win it!!!

 

 10th June

Well done to Mr Ian Greenfield, he won himself a brand new jack pyke 3500w stove for a correct guess of 68 in the guess the number of lead clips competition. Well done mate and thanks for taking the time to send your pic in for the gallery...Paul

 

July 2010

Well done to Derek Janes who was the envy of many as he won himself the Ltd edition St George Reuben heaton scales, when he got on the forum at noon for the final clue and got the correct number of boilies which was 673. We had nearly 1000 entries for this one the most we have ever received...lol  Watch out for the Xmas one "you could be in for a suprise!!!"

Well done to Nigel Cooper who won himself a brand new camo cap, cap light and camo sunglasses. he got the closest number of sprays in the 100ml Mistral bait flavor spray bottle with a guess of 937, the correct number was 943 which gave me a really sore finger..lol. I have to say my guess was well out, I never dreamed it would be so many!!! good value ahh!!

 

Sept 2010

Well done to Diane Wilburn for the closest guess of 238 corn in the jar, the correct number was 240. Got the Mr's to count that one those ultra bait corn stink. Well done a brand new shiny Korda rig safe is wingging its way to you as I type.

October 2010

Well done to Ben Hurdiss who won the,  guess the weight of Darren's sturgeon competition. His guess was 29lb the correct weight was 29.8lb...Well done mate a brand new stove is in the post....Thanks to all of you who take part in these competitions...The fish ones are very popular.


November 2010

Well done to Paul Easton with a guess of 149 he was 1 shot out in the guess the number of shot competition. The correct number of egg shot in a 7 compartment despenser is 150..Thanks to all who took part.
