Eclipse lakes (Eggington)
I first fished Egginton lakes a number of years ago with my son. We were told of some good carp comming out to 20lbs by a lad who came to the shop. My son and I decided to give it a try on a quick overnighter for just £12, no booking was needed you just turn up and the baliff will come to you. We set up around 5pm and did'nt have to wait long for some action. We went back quite a few times and managed fish to 24lb. There are a number of reports of larger fish and on the right day it really can produce the goods. Carp mid 20's, commons & grass carp to 15+. roach, perch, bream & tench fishing.
Well if you mention Tring most big fish anglers would have heard of the two more popular reservoirs called startops & wilstone. These waters contain carp to 40lb+, cats 60lb+, tench 14lb+, bream 17lb+ and some great siver fish match sport.

Kingfisher Carp Lakes
Kingfisher lakes carp syndicate have two lakes. Situated in Bedfordshire, originally stocked in the late 60s. 3 rods max, we have 12 swims on each lake consisting of single and double swims. We are a secure site and have easy access to most swims. 3 designated car parks during summer months and just the main car park during winter months. Bait boats alowed.
Brogborough Pit and Lagoon
The lake is primarily a 'big' fish lake with bream, tench, pike and carp to
specimen sizes. It is also home to huge shoals of roach which are rarely caught
due to the fact they only seem to make brief visits to the margins at certain times
of the year. It would be interesting to see anglers having a go for these elusive
fish as the rewards could be huge!
