Access is via a locked gate therefore parking is secure. Night fishing is permitted.
The water is well stocked with carp have been seen to well over 30 lb with the
best caught around 22 lb. Tench go to double figures, bream shoals in the 7-8 lb
bracket & huge perch & chub.
Rackley Hills
(Club water)
The lake is well known for its catfish stocks which currently reach 55lb. There are numerous fish in the 20/30 and 40lb range. The lake also contains a good head of carp, some of which have been caught close to thirty pounds. Recently the lake was stocked with fast growing Simmonds mirror carp at 4lb-5lb. Last year some of these fish were caught at 15lb-17lb.
Fancott Fishery

Unlike a lot of other fisheries we don't stock just carp - we have a good head of roach and perch, along with tench and crucian carp. We have twenty pegs all with comfortable platforms. Some of which have been designed to accommodate Dads and lads (or daughters) to fish together in comfort. We are open all year round, from 7.30am right through to dusk. We ask all anglers to vacate the water after dark.
Blue and Green lagoon

There are Carp of all types in the Green Lagoon, Mirror, Common and Leather. Most of the Carp are in the upper teens but plenty of twenties are caught, best so far this season is a Leather of 25 lb. Pike to 30 lbs, Tench to 7 lbs, Bream to 8 lbs. Besides these, there is a large head of skimmers, Rudd and Roach, big Perch and the occasional Crusian carp.

Chestnut's stock comprises of Carp, Tench, Bream, Roach, Rudd, Perch and Crucians. This offers total variety with something for everyone, from Pleasure, match to carp fishing.
